This was a new initiative commenced in 2008 which addressed the rollout of a flagship programme of the Minister of Water Affairs in the Gauteng province. Its focus initially was on the development of a workable strategy and implementation programme. A strategic situational assessment was carried out of the water sector in Gauteng. Adrian Wilson was the main author of the Gauteng Water for Growth and Development Concept Document and compiled an accompanying glossy brochure. He thereafter drafted an outline of the revised Provincial Water Sector Plan (PWSP) and provided inputs for the PWSP workplan.
